Message wasn't too bad, you could create an "A/C" system for the intake air - the evap core could be maintained at ~ 35°F for as long as you need it. Air path restriction through an evaporator core would present a problem though.

But I figured you could use a smaller A/C compressor to reduce weight/drag to get over the parasitic loss....but in the end, I don't know if the power increase would be enough to overcome the weight and power loss of the A/C system.
